Last updated on Jan 01, 2023
Welcome to Cobble! Cobble, Inc. is the owner of Cobble (“Cobble,” “we” and “us”) and we care about
your privacy. We have developed this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to describe the information we
collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices, in
connection with your use of our website, Cobble mobile application, and any of our products and
services that link to this Policy (collectively, our “Services”).
This Policy does not cover information we receive from third parties. If you have any questions
regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at [email protected].
By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of
this Policy, please do not use the Services. Each time you use the Services, the current version of
this Policy will apply. Accordingly, when you use the Services, you should check the date of this
Policy (which appears at the top) and review any changes since you last reviewed the Policy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect two types of information from users of our Website: “personal information,” which is information that you provide that can be used to identify you (such as your name or email address), and “aggregate information,” which is information that cannot be used to identify you (such as frequency of visits to our website and your browser type). We collect personal information and aggregate information in the contexts described below. If you choose to share information publicly through our Services, please understand that we cannot control the actions of third parties who could collect this information.
Information You Provide to Us
-
Your Account Information:
When you use our Services, you may provide certain information directly to us. For example, when you register for an account with Cobble, we require that you provide us with a valid phone number, and we collect your email address, location information, gender, birthdate, and your pronoun preferences. Once you create a Cobble account, you may upload photos of yourself and add additional optional information to your profile. Please note that information in your profile may be publicly visible to other users of our Services as further described below. -
Your Communication with Other Users:
When you communicate with other users, you may provide content and information such as in-app messages and you may designate the type of relationship that you have with the other user, such as for example, tagging the user as a close contact of yours. Keep in mind that users that you communicate with may, in some cases, be able to save that content or copy it outside of Cobble, so do not send messages or share content that you would not want another user to save or share. -
Your Communication with Us:
We collect information when you communicate with us. The specific types of information we collect will depend on the forum in which you communicate with us. For example, if you send us an email, we will collect your email address and the content of your email. -
Phonebook:
The Services may access information from your device's phonebook to invite your contacts to use Cobble, however, we do not store this information. -
Location Information:
With your permission, the Services may collect your precise geolocation data. We do not store this information and only use while you are using the Services. Any location data provided by the Services is for basic location purposes only and is not intended to be relied upon in situations where precise location information is needed or where erroneous, inaccurate or incomplete location data may lead to death, personal injury, property or environmental damage. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of location data tracked or displayed by the Services.
